♡ Birthday Shopping Make-up Haul ♡

Hi everyone! So this is my first proper post since I recently decided that I wanted to get back into blogging! The 17th of August was my birthday (Saturday) and I have had the most amazing birthday weekend so thank you so much to all my friends + family who made it extra special. I would also like to thank everyone on instagram and twitter who wished me a happy birthday, that was just the cherry on top of the cake! I received some absolutely lovely presents + money off everybody so thank you so much again for that. In this post I'm going to show you the makeup bits I bought with some of my birthday money when i went shopping, the products are from superdrug, boots and topshop. I hope you enjoy the post and if you would like reviews of any of the products I show please be sure to leave a comment telling me and I will get back to you asap!

I finally picked up some of the maybelline baby lips yay! I got them in hydrate and pink punch, I've used them once and so far I really like them, they seem really moisturizing and they both smell amazing - £2.99 each from superdrug (3 for 2 with the maybelline rocket mascara so one was free)

I picked up another cosmopolitan makeup sponge (there exactly the same as the beauty blender just cheaper) this is my third one now, I love them for applying my foundation - £4.99 from superdrug

It was 3 for 2 on bourjois in superdrug so I picked up 3 things that I have been wanting for a while, I got the chocolate bronzing powder in 51 which is the lightest one out of the two shades (7.99), the colour boost lip stick in peach on the beach (£7.99) and I got the healthy mix foundation in 51 light vanilla which I have had before (£9.99)

I already have the real techniques expert face brush and I love it so much so I wanted to get some more of Samantha Chapman's brushes because they are perfect! So from boots I got the blush brush (£9.99) and the powder brush (12.99) they are both so so soft and I already know how much I am going to love them.

I have been wanting to try something from Topshop's makeup line for quite a while now so I decided to get one of there cream blushes as I don't own many blushes and they had such a pretty colour range, I got mine in head over heels which is this gorgeous peach/coral colour and looks so natural on the cheeks and can I just say how much i love the packaging omg! (£6)

From superdrug I also got the maybelline rocket mascara which was on 3 for 2 offer with the baby lips, I've heard amazing things about this and I was in need of a new mascara so I thought I would give this a go (£7.99)

Then from boots I just picked up a few random bits and bobs that I wanted to try so I got the soap and glory hand maid hand gel (£2.50), the models own head kandi beach party nail polish (£5) and the palmers cocoa butter lip balm which was a re-purchase (£1.99)

I hope you enjoyed this make-up haul and like I said if you would like a review on any of the products mentioned please leave me a comment below and I would love to know if you have any requests of blog posts you would like me to do in the future because I am struggling to think of things to post, thank you for reading!

♡My Love For Cara Delevingne♡

Hello lovelies this post is one that I have chosen to do myself and it has not been requested but I thought that I would tell you about my love for Cara Delevingne and where it all came from.

I suppose the obvious thing to tell you is why I love her and there's quite a few reasons but I will tell you them.

Firstly she is beautiful and she always looks perfect, she is one of the prettiest models I have ever seen and I'm not normally a huge fan of any models but I think that Cara Delevingne is just so beautiful and she just stands out. She also has a great personality (from what I have read and seen anyway haha) in lots of picture she is wearing onesies and other silly costumes and always pulling faces which shows that she is not like other snobby, posh models who think there too good for anything. Shes always having fun and shes never worried about anyone getting a picture of her when she doesn't look her best.

The whole nation loves her at the moment and she is in every single magazine but I found out about her when everyone started hyping and uploading photos of Cara on instagram and suddenly I became obsessed and now she is my idol. I just think she is amazing, so beautiful and deserves all the attention.

♡Tips And Tricks To Grow Long Nails♡

Hello blogger friends, now my iPhone is letting me upload my photos onto my laptop which means more frequent blogging YAY. So I will start with a post that has been very highly requested on instagram which is tips on how I grow my nails. On instagram I always get asked how I grow my nails and I dont have any specific way I just have 10 tips and tricks which may help you to grow yours so lets just get into it!

Firstly I just thought I'd let you know that I don't use any nail growing products and I have had long nails since I can remember  For nail polish remover I use the Sally Hansen 'regular nail polish remover for all nail types' and it isn't a good nail polish remover to use as it contains acetone which is harmful to the nails (oopsy). I paint my nails every Sunday and I can't stand how my nails look when they aren't painted so painting them is like a ritual to me haha. Firstly I take off my old nail polish, file them in a square shape, paint them with a normal nail polish e.g. Avon nailwear pro in apricot (in the picture below) and then I use my favorite top coat over the top. The top coat that I use is Sally Hansen 'insta-dry' and I love this and I will defenitley be re-purchasing this again in the future, it literally dries my nails in around 40 seconds, makes them super shiny and stops them from chipping.

10 Tips And Tricks That You Could Try:
1. Try and use an acetone free nail polish remover (unlike me) because acetone weakens the nails and dries them out so your nails will break very easily.
2. Try not to bite your nails (I know that this can be hard for some people) personally I feel ill at even the thought of biting my nails and I have never done it but if this is your habit then try and stop if you can.
3. Don't use your nails as tools to open things e.g cans or tins as this will make them break very easily.
4. If you are going to cut your nails then cut them whilst they are wet as this will help to prevent breakage on the rest of the nail.
5. Moisturize your nails and cuticles as this will keep them hydrated and nourished. I reccomend using the Vaseline hand cream in the pink tube, its great.
6. I don't know if this helps a lot but I always wear nail polish and I suppose this acts as like a second coat to your nails (if you know what I mean haha) so it makes them thicker and stronger and it makes them less likely to break. Even if you don't wear nail polish or your not allowed to wear it to school then you could just wear a clear top coat to keep them healthy.
7. keep good care of them, so file them every now and then to make sure there not going to catch on things which will break and chip them.
8. When you file your nails, file them in one direction so they don't get weaker and break.
9. I don't use one but maybe you could try using a 'fast nail growth' top coat (I think Sally Hansen do one) because this would help them to grow faster.
10. If your really serious about growing your nails then you could take Biotin which is a vitamin that helps skin, hair and nails to grow healthier and quicker. Its the vitamin that is found in most skin, hair and nail tablets but by taking pure Biotin it will work faster. You can buy this from Holland & Barret.

On the top left are my natural nails with no nail polish on, the bottom right is my nails when they have been freshly filed and painted and the other picture is the nail polish remover and top coat that I use and love.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed x

♡My Thoughts On - Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips♡

Hello everyone, today I am going to be doing another 'my thoughts on' post, I apologize if you do not like these types of posts but I have had a few requests on Instagram and this was one of them. Anyway this post is going to be a review on the Biore deep cleansing pore strips. I purchased mine in Boots for half price reduced from £10.99 to around £5. Mine are the combo strips so the pack contains 7 nose strips and 7 face strips and you can buy packs with just 7 nose strips in but at the time these were the cheapest so I thought it would be a better deal. I have used the strips a few times now and I am impressed with them. It comes with full instructions on the box but basically you remove the plastic backing from the strip and apply to it to your nose or forehead (which has to be wet so the strip can stick to the skin) then you leave it to work for around 10-15 minutes then you remove the strip and its as simple as that! There super easy to use and the results are great, I can defenitley see that the pores around my nose are less clogged when I remove the strip and I can feel that it has taken away all the oil from my pores which is fantastic. I reccomend getting these if you have oily skin, clogged pores or blackheads because they will help to reduce the appearance of all these things. All in all these are brilliant and they really do work so I will defenitley be re-purchasing them when they are on offer again, thanks for reading

♥My Thoughts On - Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation♥

Hello blogger friends, today I will be doing a review on the Rimmel London match perfection foundation and again this is another post which has been requested from one of my lovely Instagram followers.

Firstly I'll start off by saying that this foundation is available in boots, superdrug and probably many other shops and mine was £6.99 (but its on offer for £4.99 and the link is below) from superdrug in the shade 101 light porcelain. I went into superdrug intending to repurchase the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer and I saw this foundation and I had to treat myself and buy it because everyone was hyping about it, so I did.

Ever since I bought it I have used it every single day as It's a really light foundation and doesn't feel heavy on the skin so its perfect to wear to school as is makes your skin look really natural. I'd say the coverage from this foundation is medium because I have very oily skin, lots of freckles and blemishes and the foundation does cover any redness and blemishes but I wouldn't say it covers freckles completely. The finish of this foundation is probably in the middle again as its not completely matte but its not shiny although I still like to use a pressed powder to set it with and reduce shine. This foundation is made to match your skin tone perfectly and to be honest I think it does as most foundations that I try are always too orange even when I buy the palest shade and they always look really dark on my skin tone. However this is one of the only foundations that I have tried that actually matches my skin tone and looks really natural which is great! When I apply this foundation I use my Cosmopolitan beauty blender to blend it in and set it with a pressed powder as I said before and I think it blends really easily. All in all I think this foundation is really good, its a very affordable price and I really like it. I would defenitley repurchase it although I do like to try new products.

Buy the foundation here - http://www.superdrug.com/face/rimmel-match-perfect-foundation-light-porcelain/invt/541561/

I hope this helped you and I hoped you like it please leave any feedback, drugstore foundations that you reccomend and any blog post requests in the comments below and I will defenitley reply, thank you
